when putting a jdm b16 into an 88-91 crx si and installing the speedo cable,can i take off that part that comes with the motor/tranny and install my factory speedo cable?...thats what i did and i just wanna make sure i did the right thing?

my cable is tit3 tho with the rear engine side mount if you wanted to dent it a little bit if its not installed
