Does it matter what YEAR H22 I should use????

If not, what is the difference in the 97-01 Prelude Engine & 97-01 Prelude Type-S Engine?


And yes I tried a search for this but didnt find anything.


And here are the only stats I could find. They are both the same other then the price.

make sure that you get a year that is of your obd. If your car is 92-95 get obd1. if your car is 96-2001 get obd2

My car is a 90 Accord.

Does it matter what year H22 I should use?
 
and the intake manifold... and the exhaust manifold... and yes it does matter greatly which year you choose on where you plan on going with your application. the early h22a had a closed block, which is fantastic for boosting (its easy to tell because it is the one with 190hp) the type s is bad ass, but i cant see myself buying it knowing im going to be changing everything that makes it so great, maybe to sell the stuff on ebay or something? i dunno. tell me the year of the vehicle you are putting it in, which car you're putting it in, if you are wanting turbo, nitrous or all motor... all these things depend on which h22a to get. hope i was some help.
 
this doesn't really fit here but well my lude is a 96 it's the old body style and the older h22 would have came it had it been a v-tec
