zc dohc or sohc

How can i tell if a zc is sohc or dohc

by looking at the head, 2 cams or one cam,
both will have ZC on the block if its a real ZC
not sure if its the answer you want but theres a bunch of honda ZC motors
1.6 sohc non vtec
1.6 dohc non vtec
1.5 sohc vtec
1.6 sohc vtec
all are aroung 120 - 135 hp

a sohc will have the small valve cover like the one in my avatar; the DOHC ZC valve cover almost looks like a b-series valve cover and has "ribs". You can go in Google Images, type in DOHC ZC and SOHC ZC and compare...It's very noticeable.

all ZC engines are 1.6L

the 1.5 d15b was a d15z1 vtec similar to the VX motor found in 92-95 hatchbacks just the motor was setup for fuel ecomony in the VX
A Real ZC should have ZC where the engine Code should be on the block

The D15B VTEC doesnt say ZC on it. I have one and can confirm. It just says "D15B" on the block.

this is a SOHC ZC VTEC
