I have a friend that has a golf. It has the same drive train as the bug. Its a piece of shit. the transmission is going to shit, its got no power. very slow response time, and it has a completely sealed transmission, no way to check he fluid in the automatic.

I just watched the Model A video... you'd have to be sick in the head to enjoy riding in it. I bet it's scary as hell under full acceleration.
Looking through the site it's obvious they spent a lot of time and effort into making the car handle the power, but being that far off the ground on those tiny contact patches with that kind of power to weight ratio would make me skittish at best.
