it was, i could tell something was starting to go the last couple days, wouldnt start up sometimes and sometimes it would, but once it was started it was fine, then it just wouldnt start when i went to go home last night after an hour of trying and the fuel pump never running so i decided it was out, so i pulled the one outta the 4 door and we're good now, and in good timing because i have to go to work tonight and school today and have nothing else to drive
 
dont do it!!!! keep the B. u will make more power in the long run with that and be more happy.
 
sweet hatch man..clean for sure been lookin for the same thing for a while trade my SI project for one any day..ital look killer when its all painted and done...I had a crx with a sohc boosted it was one of the faster civics ive had and drivin..you could maybie do the paint like the type r if you get the front and rear lips, you allready have the side markers...

WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!?!?! lol ive neve said anything about getting rid of the b i dont think, besides for the fully built boosted d that i mentioned like 2 months ago lol, before i put the ls/vtec in

thanks, idk if its gonna get painted as originally planned now, i may just have it sprayed the factory black like its supposed to be...
 
well im going to look at a vw tomorrow, actually 2 for my one possible, 96 and 98 gti's, the 96 is black a parts car and kinda rough, and the 98 is red and in really good shape, the motor is boosted on 23psi, made about 360 hp on the dyno i think the guy said, and the tranny just got rebuilt by aamco (where the owner works) it needs the motor and tranny dropped into it and it will run, im gonna have to think hard about this one, but i really want a vw for some reason
 
VW's are junk there is a reason they had the trans rebuilt cause the trans are trash from vw. I also wouldn't trust someone saying that the motor has 360hp but the motor is not in the car. For all you know the motor probably doesn't run or is knocking. Not a trust worthy situation to be jumping into..
 
im compression checking the motor, and im gonna ask for the dyno sheet and if he doesn't have it then ill walk away, and if he wont buy the clutch ill walk away also, so ill probably end up keeping my car...
 
thats true... idk he said the motor was just rebuilt too, so if he doesnt have receipts either then theres another reason to walk away, but i want a gti though, something thats newer and has a little more room and thats a little nicer, i spend a lot of time in my car so i want something that is a little more comfortable...
 
lets think about this:
he wants to trade a "360hp" gti that doesnt run, and a rough parts car that doesnt run
for your
eg that runs and drives, but is a little rough around the edges.

are you fucking kidding me? if this doesnt spell attempted scam, then i dont know what does
 
i checked it out tonight, seems really legit, i think what i will do to try to not get scammed as much as possible is he said hed try to get the engine and tranny in this week, so i may go down one day and work on it down there, get it to fire and run at least, then bring it home to finish little things, thats the best plan ive came up with so far...
 
Or keep your current car, which is running and driving well, and not take the chance of taking over someone else's problems.

Not to mention if the gti breaks, you probably don't know how to work on them too well, then what? Not trying to be a dick, just sayin.
 
i know what you mean, im just ready for somethin different honestly... im not really one to keep cars all that long, i want something newer and a little nicer
