Guess what? I have a job, a salaried job, and I'm still spending nearly my entire return to pay bills and debt. It's called priorities, and it's what mature people take care of before they go and buy themselves presents. If you're struggling to put food on the table for your kids, then buying an HDTV should be the last thing on your mind.
And if your girlfriend is anything but an immature, selfish biotch, then she should know what circumstances you're going through right now and realize that wasting her tax return money on a TV is a dumb idea. And are any of these kids hers? If so, then she's got just as little excuse for buying a TV as you do.
And no, the fact that you ended up buying a cheapo off-brand one doesn't make it any better...

Your girl probably got a majority of that return because she claims your kids, and as such, that money really should be used for them. I'm assuming she would rather provide for the kids than have a new tv.

Old Dominion off Alum Creek is hiring dock workers now at $15/hour. They'll be hiring truck drivers in a few months at $20-25/hour. Get in the door as a dock worker, do your job properly, and express your interest as a driver and you'll have a shot. If you dont make it there, stay on the docks and keep working.

No, seriously though, don't you think you kind of brought this on yourself? And technically no, NOT all of the money was spent on the kids. $300 of your available funds are wrapped up in an HDTV that you guys really have no business owning when it causes you to have to commit insurance fraud (thereby screwing the rest of us over in the long run) so that you can take care of your responsibilities (which should have been a priority for you and your family from the start).
Next time, think before you act, alright? Please realize that shit you think is "funny" may not be funny to everyone, and that your actions have consequences for others...

You do realize that a lot of the flack that you're getting here is because of how you present yourself, right? The SMARTEST option here would have been to never create this thread, especially seeing as you just got done posting about buying a new TV.
However, if you had just been more like "Wow, I can't believe it's actually come to this, but here's what I had to do to just to get by" instead of "ROFLMAO, look at this funny joke I pulled on my insurance company! How awesome am I?????", then this probably wouldn't have turned out so badly for you...

Hey don't go there I am the best father I can be.. I have full custody of two of my kids cause there mother is a piece of shit.. My other two are with the girl I am with now... I know you was probably joking but I am doing the best i can to take care of my kids..
