ok..stop buying and make a plan

for scca you have to find a class that you are competitive in. then find a car that fits into that class..

some classes wont let you forge anything...

if you want turbo and scca and can afford a payment i would get an evo/sti ...shit even an mr2 is good

if you want NA and scca [my recommendation] i would buy a stock 94-2001 gsr or a 99-00 civic si. best stock platforms and reliable oem "racers"


if you insist in keeping the h22 then get a nice prelude that came with one... [so you stay in a certain scca class] and swap out the bottom ends an keep as a spare.

preludes are heavy though, but nice platforms.
 
Hey guys not trying to get off topic of the thread. But i was wondering where can i get accord JDM parts and what they have to offer. I have a 91 coupe. Im looking for pretty much anything. Thanks.
 
they dont offer no more than the usdm accords. there is no power difference , suspension difference, some jdm transmissions came with lsd , butthats about all ...................try starting a thread to get more answers
 
getting back on topic...at least i hope this is on topic...i didnt feel like reading the whole thing and im going off what formby said...

if you can afford one...an s2k does very nice on the autox...

if you have a limited budget...even though i hate these cars...cuz i consider them girlie cars...lol...but i know a few people with supercharged miatas that do very well on the autox as well...

i also have a buddy who has a 350z that he runs on the autox...its a lot heavier than the miatas...so it gets about a 10 second difference from the miatas...but it is in a different class of course...he runs against some RX-8s and does well against them

as soon as i get my car running again...im going to take my H22 accord out on the autox and see how it does...i took it out once when it still had the F22 engine...and i won my class...beating a corvette...but only cuz the corvette knocked over cones and it deducted his time...lol...

anyways...flame me if im off topic...lol...i apologize if i am...im just being lazy and done feel like reading...haha
 
just wanted to update on what car i went with, turbo charged , almost 500 hp . and 505 fpt . set me back 20k used . has very low milage

Hey buddy; make a mental note.... the ONLY cars that NEED spoilers and diffusers are ones that go over 100mph ON A DAILY FUCKING BASIS!

I'm sorry for the rant but, I'll only ever feel justified having a LIGHTWEIGHT spoiler on either a Porsche C2 or a Skyline GT-R34 NSpec (which they only made 71 or so of)(hint: the 'N' is for Nurburg)

That whale-tail must weigh a tonne. Do me a favor and go through a tank with it on; then remove it and compare your mileage. Bet you save some money;)

well the spolier is staying beause i have noticed a difference with it . Seems that the rear end isnt feeling as loose in the long turns well over 80-90 mph. the stickers came on it and im not to concerned with that , when the500 horsies get unleashed , fuck the stickers try to keep up to see them . and just for the record this will not be a ricer, jut because it has stickers on the window and spolier risers for higher speeds , doesnt qualify my car a ricer. This car doesnt need anything else as far as im concernec, someone put a chunk of change and many hours of labor to this motor. hate to ruin this car !! oh yeah one more thing d17type-R , read this whole thread and see the improvment.
 
have you removed it to see if there was a difference?? probably not, so how do you know.. i can tell you that wing does nothing but look odd
 
Let's not roast him too bad guys, his new car is a 110% improvement over where he started in this thread. I'd definetely rock it, stickers and wing included.
 
of course the car is a big improvement, but the wing almost puts it back where it was before..
