My friend swaped a d16y8 in to a 4dr dx, and he is using a p28(d16z6) ecu? i think thats right. well he is getting a jump in the idle. it bounces up to 2k over and over. he has a cel but it reads vtec solenoid. He didnt use a OBD2 to OBD1 jumper harness, he just rewired the few plugs that needed...
