we used the same mount that came with the motor.....the motor came out off a 92 chassy

okay we swapped out my wife's 95 hatch from d15 to b16a jdm, also obd1........everything went smooth and dandy, car starts up normally but we ran into a major problem. the rear bracket mount wont line up correctly, it should be the right mount becasue all the bolts goes in...

i'm getting all kinds of info about jdm b16 map sensor.....obviously you cant see it anywhere, its like didn't make one for it. but here's what i've learned so far. -jdm b16 has a map sensor built in inside the TB, so there's no need for map sensor wiring or -use the existing map sensor...

okay guys need help on wiring and some info b4 i do this.......first of all the car is a 95 dx and the engine is a jdm b16a obd1 from a 92 eg 4door chassy. the car is auto and the swap is auto as well and it comes with p30 ecu. now we are having difficulties with the wiring. since its jdm...

i should......they gave me a rhd harness, maybe i can salvage some wires out of that vtec harness

so what kind of harness should i get or any vtec harness..... si, gsr,etc. does it really matter if its auto or 5 spd harness?

^^^so even though i have the vtec engine harness i still need to modify the bay's harness?

i use my current dx engine bay harness and use vtec engine harness? i have vtec engine harness, but i really dont wanna mess with the other harness (lazy) if i dont have to.

i just bought my jdm b16, came out of an eg4 ferio chassy and it comes with tranny, mounts, harness, p30, axles, and etc. since its obd1 same chassy engine, it should be a straight bolt on, right?? as far as the harness, i think it wouldn't work because its a rhd, so what harness should i get...

:confused: AHHHHH, sorry man but i'm still confused. what did you mean by convert the rest to obd2? everything else is obd2 including the ecu (p2t). just use my dx harnes and an obd2 conerssion right? that should do the trick......any additional wiring i need to add?

i gues i'll make it simple......the engine is a jdm b16a (real jdm) obd2 from a 97 ek and it comes with everything. ecu code is p2t vtec obd2. is this a non-recommended swap to go an 5th gen and how difficult is it? -if yes, what would i need replace in order to do the swap, ecu, harness...
