I have a b18A1 flywheel i want to use on a B18B1 with a 5 speed out of a 91 LS will that work? or do i need a b18B1 flywheel, and a 1991 clutch? :blink: Schucks lists the same part number on the flywheel, so i'm safe to assume that i can use the 1991 B18A flywheel onthe B18B... with the 1991...

Summit racing has both 1834cc and 1797cc listed as 1.8L Which would the 96 B18B1 use?

OK... A little background, I have a 89 civic DX HB. I purchased a B18A1, w/trans: 91 integra axles, ECU, and motor mounts. I've converted the harnes tp MPFI I found out my B18A1 is toast... (broken motor mount on block) So my good friend gave me 2 B18B1's that appear to be newer... the valve...

Ok, 88 Civic HB, doing a B18A1 Swap. Went to start prepping the motor and folund that someone broke one of the bolt holes on the motor, the one between the timing belt... so the motor is fubar'd... Would of been a good motor too... I found a B18B1... what would i need to do to put the B18B1 in...

So what about an intake... (not the manifold...) Would i get the 90-93 intake or the 88-91 intake?

So i'm putting my B18A1 into my 89 Hatch DX... If i want a header, obviously i'd choose one that would be for a 90-93 acura correct... dah? but will it fit in the engine bay of the civic... I know it's a dumb question... just want to make sure there's not a "special" header that works with...

Word to the wise... You need 2 things... a few razor blades... some hot glue or epoxy... Now cut the corners of teh razor blades off... so you have triengles... yuo'll only get 2 pieces off of each razor... get about six or eight... epoxy/glue these to the back of the deck so there in...

if it is only doing it under load your fuel pressure might not be adequate? can you check you fuel pressure? :blink:

I have both the harness' which do i modify to put in with the swap? Do I use the stock DX harness or do i use the stock acure integra harness that came with my B18A1? And the resistor box i got with the B18 from the 91 integra.. where does it come to play? 91 ls B18A1 into 88 hatch DX

I got that part.. but what is the oil pump out of.. year/make... it says vtec model.. so a ? what model/year...

what do i change it to?

Thanks for the link... It says the ls block oil pump sucks... while i have the block apart.. (straight LS for now) shold I upgrade the oil pump to something else?
