The car looks great. And we still do see awesome examples of clean Hondas up here. Though BC cars have no rust vs eastern cars :D

Looking really foreword to the updates to this thing.

Alright, got around to taking pictures of the turbo kit. Wondering where one of the parts fit, and I need a wastegate. Gotta love that eBay bov. Turbo is freshly reground, 0km on it, I'll be the first to spool it. Gotta fix a few suspension parts, fix the cancer before it spreads, then wauptsh.

Yes I love street fighter haha. :)

The tube in the second last picture, connects to the manifold... Where does that lead too?

wastegate... duh which is attached to your manifold

let us know how long that Ebay manifold lasts. My buddy got a week on his. At least get a Tial 38mm wastegate. I would not trust a ebay wastegate and the better ones are still the same price as a Tial one. I just checked Ebay. Tial WG 38mm about $225.00

How can you tell it's a eBay Mani? The guy I bought it off said he had it on the bar before the turbo went, so he had it re grinded (I can see the red marking pen) and had to leave town. Might be naive of me, but I thought it was all custom made

Um that is not custom manifold. That looks like Cheap chinese Stainless steel sus-304 2mm thick crap. That is a very common design. Don't take this the wrong way it seems you have not seen mani turbo manifolds. Trying to give you the heads up not bash you in any way. its all good man.

this is a 75 dollar manifold the same design as yours. it will crack

Hoosed haha nice touch.

He wanted $1500 for the kit, and showed me the reciept from a volvo dealership for the cost of the rebuild/grind of the turbo, that alone was $500+tax. Ended up paying him... $500 lol

Will do, slight change of priorities first, I need to find suspension first because my drivers front strut is blown, I'm doing like 40 things at once with it lol I can't make up which angle to tackle first

Thanks man about time I have a decent platform to work on, i got quoted $800 to do the rear quarters with metal and touch up the doors and hood, rear defrost isn't working so I gotta fix that before snow hits, tires, suspension, blah blah blah

This sucks!!!!

So two days ago i'm going to grab a set of dsm blue tops, eagle rods, fj pistons w/ rings, and a walbro 255 for $600, and I get pulled over. Cop asks me where my brake lights were, I laugh and sure enough they don't turn on anymore. They did when I bought it.

Today its in the shop to get it quickly looked over, the bulbs are fine, if u power them up they light, the horn works so its not the fuse, but the brake switch isn't getting power. The fucked up part is that my CRUISE CONTROL still works?!?!?! And still disengages when the brake is pressed, but no light. As of now we think its a wiring problem between the wiring harness and the switch, but its super weird. Anybody chime in with anything they think is the issue?

Highly doubtful because it so obvious, but you didn't go into detail so ill throw it out there; When you say they light up under power, do you mean just on the low "regular driving" brightness, or both with/without the brake pedal depressed. Because on my Si, they would light up under normal driving, but since they were bi-modal, the brighter "under braking" portion had burnt out unnoticed. Just a quick bulb replacement. Again, I know its so obvious its probably the first thing you checked, but sometimes those most obvious things are overlooked just for that fact.
