89 Crx Hf Tranny

This tranny HAS GOT to be geared sky high. I got up the nerve to try to hit the rev limiter after all I had been through with this car. This is what happened. Kinda funny, now that it's over. My nerve ran out at 40 mph in 1st and 75mph in 2nd. Is my speedo wrong? Am I passing the redline? Do I have a rev limit? I know there was at least a link to some type of tranny gear ratio/tire size/speed calculator, but I couldn't find it.

The hf tranny is geared for fuel economy and low revs. You really should get an si or dx tranny (if you go dx try to get one from a sedan)
