Most pop singers lip synch and it's not like Milli Vanilli because we know she actually did sing the songs originally. From what I saw on the video clip, she wasn't actually gonna lip synch the whole song, they were just playing parts of the song in the background for her to sing along with. They call it "power" singing, because you use a track of yourself and you sing over it to make the vocals more powerful. WTF was up with that jig at the end??? That's when she made an ass of herself. If she would have just walked off the stage it wouldnt have been so bad.

You're right about it not being lyp-synching and using the track for power singing but she definately shouldn't have walked off the stage or even stopped. Fuck it was SNL she could have started laughing and been like alright now guys, lets do this for real and started over.
