What.... happened?

I have believed that Americans as a whole are slow, not stupid. Unfotunately it looks like I was wrong.

Freedom, I'll miss ya.

And thats my point. Bush refuses to admit he or anyone else in his administration was wrong. He refuses to admit to ANYTHING he's done wrong, and sticks with his mistaken plans.

During the youth debates a question was asked if each candidate would tell of a time when they made a mistake. Bush declined to answer the question.

Good work, America:

You just let those people decide the fate of our country.

There should have been a two step process to voting Bush, first you get to vote Bush in the election, then you step into another booth where doctors will be on hand to check the extent of your brain damage and sterilize you for the good of the country.

when i voted there was a baby of one of the peoples who was at the poll place running things that shit there pants and it stunk so bad i could hardly breath

all i got to say is thank god kerry isnt president! every one bashes bush but no president in 50 some years had to make the choices he did , and the last one made some difficult choices which made him look like the bad guy for a long time too on a national level(im talking about truman and the a bomb for all of u who dont know ur american history) point two im not down with abortion , not the way kerry propossed (in the 8th month , and that some of our tax money would pay for women to have abortions fuck that u should have had it sooner.. and u should pay for it. and homosexual marriages , if we let that go there goes the morals thing. this country was founded on its beleifs and should not allow a little whinning to tear it down. im christian and i say keep it in the schools.. no other country in the world will let their national religion be challenge except the best place in the world usa! great to know im not against any religion but im not for removing it from where its been put .. its got down to the stupidest shit as they want to take the "in god we trust" out from our money =( well this is my bias and pro bush rant enjoy

^--- It WAS religion that decided things. We're doomed.

God in schools is a topic of minor debate. God in politics has destroyed civilizations since the beginning of humanity. And no, I don't mean the piddly crap like whats printed on our money. I mean letting it determine the leader of the nation.

Think about this though if you were religious enough. If you are christian and allow kerry to be president you are saying its ok to be homosexual and gay marriage is ok , that abortion is ok( i know this ones been debated to death so im not trying to arue im just going to say read the bible(i did) and many other things . Letting religion decided leaders dosnt destroy the nation the civil chaos inside the country is what does when people dont agree with the leader which leads to civic wars , rebellions , and such things. if people would support their leader and do all they can.. maybe things wouldnt end up on the bad side.. if their was some one else who held my values and beliefs better i woulnt have voted for either of them but between the two bush holds that... !

You know, honestly Americans will just get what they deserve with this.
More than anything it makes me sad though, and not just because we allowed ourselves to be bent over and have our election stolen from us in 2000, but because such a large portion of our country has validated that raping by voting for bush in this election.
Beyond that, its also upsetting the amount of dirty campaign tactics that the gop used to disenfranchise minority and democratic votes garners almost no major media coverage. I mean in a number of states there were GOP emissaries at polling stations calling into question voters abilities to vote, forcing them to take more time than they expected to fill out a provisional ballot. Late opening pools, judges issuing injunctions demanding that gop members refrain from photographing voters and taking down their lisence numbers, the incident with brower counties absentee votes, and electronic ballot machine issues are just the tip of the iceberg that has been recieving so little media play its disturbing. There are already a number of lawsuits that have been started because of all of this. I mean worse than the media not covering this, is that even if they did, we as a people would still not hold anybody accountable.
It's bullshit.

The new draft will extend the age from 25 to 35. Also, the new draft will target computer specialists and people will be required to regularly update the draft agency with their skills until they are 35. I know a lot of people on this forum are in the IT industry, as am I, and it makes me sick that my fellow young Americans were too fucking lazy to go vote. Guess who will be complaining like little bitches when they are being deployed to Iraq????
