well i have decided to let the hondaswap family know whats going on ill try to make it short. back in april i had kidney stone surgery and when they done the x-ray they found some spots on my lungs, so i went for a bunch of test to see if its cancer.witch it should not be i mean im 28 years old and ive never even tried smoking in my life but i soon found out that it really don't matter you can still get it, so i went for the pet scan and its showing bad things in there so i went and got a biopsy of one of the lymph nodes thats in there and the test came back as no cancer, so i went and talked to the doc and he said its looking like granuloma disease but that he didn't trust the test 100% because its just the very outer layer of it so theres still a chance of cancer, tomorrow morning im having a open biopsy he said if its nothing i will just be in the hospital with chest tubes for about 2 days but if its cancer then he will open me on up and cut the bad spots out of my lungs and ill be there about 6 days.so lets hope its nothing. i know its gonna suck with chest tubes and everything look up thoracotomy surgery on google and look at the images it looks rough as hell. but oh well what can you do.

Good luck. The girl I was dating up until recently was having much of the same issues that it sounds as though you're having including having multiple scans bioypsis.

You'll be fine either way, if you're willing to be a fighter and take your life into your own hands. Stay healthy, exercise, eat right, go to the doctor at regular intervals (3-4months) and practice preventative health care.

Any type of surgery is scary, hopefully you are good to go. Think positive.

thanks everyone it means a lot. its more than the nodes it was just one very large node and then spots right on the lungs. the doc im going to invented this type of surgery and my g/f grand mom went to him for the same surgery and she did great. he said that all the test looks like its nothing but theres still a chance and he would hate to miss a cancer and send me home as ok, when there might be something there.

ive had chest tubes... they really arent all that bad... dont get me wrong, its going to suck... but at the end of it you just end up with an inch long scar or two that look like you got stabbed in the ribs (good for making up stories when you get sick of retelling what happened )

and indeed keep a positive outlook and there is definitely something to be said for being stubborn and not letting it beat you... if i walked again after my accident i was supposed to need a cane for the rest of my life (fuck all that)... i was rolerblading the following summer (with a CF leg brace thati made) and now i dont even limp
