fuel cut, running rich, smells too much like gas

I just did a d16a swap on my 89 ef
but I seem to be hitting fuel cut it wont go over like about 4,500 rpms
also when I drive it ,it smells like gas.. it's freaking me out

have you tried setting the timing forward/backward on ur dizzy that might help.i dont know about the gas smell.

they also told me it might be my injectors..
could that be an option??

Any check engine lights?
Exhaust isn't clogged?
ECU is correct for the OBD of the motor?
Injector resistor box wired correctly? or, exists?
Grounds clean and present?
Timed?
Dizzy clean inside, no cracks, oil, water, corrosion inside?
