I picked up a K24A4 Accord Longblock from a buddy in Portland. Some friends and I stripped it down bare. Im building an ALL Motor Daily Driven Machine on pump 91 w/ 12.5:1 compression Wiseco pistons. I already have a swapped K20 into the car. here is a pic of the car and my k24 bare.
already done a K20 swap... and now you want an all motor K24. you sir must make very very good money and I envy your project.
maybe stupid question but how are you gonna have 13.5.1 comp. and still run pump gas? build sounds awsome!!
ok i didnt want to offend you im just new to the honda engine building. when my dad and i built big block chevys we used 13.5.1 but we always ran 115 fuel so i wasnt sure. it would be cool to run 13.5.1 on pump tho. awsome build keep us posted
K-Pro. Tuning. It can be done. But, it'd be really pointless to have money invested in 13.5:1 compression pistons if you are only running 91 octane.
I disagree... I ran 93 octane on 13:1 compression with a B series head. On a K you can probably go higher. You just have to know what you're doing with the fuel maps.
I have been looking into the IPS KME cams.... very spendy though $1550 w/o springs and retainers. Some guy on k20a.org is putting down 307whp and 231TRQ with the KME ALL MOTOR!!!! I just orderd my IB spec connecting rods. Should be here Monday-Tuesday
Just picked up some Importbuilders I BEAM K24 Connecting rods, K20A OIL PUMP, windage tray, Oil Chain. Soon picking up my TSX head!! PICS SOON
