You can send your intercooler to Full-Race.com and they can anodize it black for you. It will not have ANY heat absorbing properties of black paint and can actually help with your intake charge. I dont know exactly how much it costs, but its pretty sweet.

A small layer of black paint on the very outside of the intercooler will NOT affect the cooling properties of the intercooler itself.

I personally like the c8's and black.. gsr and hatch is way too common where i'm from.
