At the moment I am soooo not into disassembling the wipers, hood cowl, and some of the firewall bracing for the front struts.

Then ripping out the entire trunk carpet and braces to get to the rear shocks.

Ugh.

I had to do that on my fit. It sucked big time. Luckily I only had to do it 3 times.

On the CR-Z, I don't have to take anything off to get at the front struts, and on the rear it's the same as the fit, just two plastic doors/hatches.

OE... wat? emblems are getting golded and i'm putting carbon vinyl behind them. the centercaps have been done up too, was just too dark to take a photo.

Lol, so we're looking at Corolla S's like yours, probably a couple years older, trying to stay in the $9k range. Anything that I should know or look for? It's a Toyota so I know it should run forever. From what I've seen they get pretty good mpg too.

9G corollas get better mileage than mine, and are practically the same chassis.

The corolla is a great reliable vehicle. its just not great for me.

Yea, I've noticed that from what I've seen. I hate the way the 9G non S Corolla's look though. The 10G regular Corolla's look much better.

Know anyone with a Yaris? That's also a car we are considering. They get AWESOME mpg.

i know 2 people with a yaris. no complaints from them at all.

I ride in my friends Yaris all the time. Its actually a bad ass car. Lots of room. and when he went to Kentucky he left me the keys and the car at my house.

So of course I drove it the whole time, and It drove very smoothly. besides that, we drive 2 hours out to East Texas once or twice a week, and its comfy. I sleep in that car a lot.
