Dude, you're just pitching a fit because your photo didn't get picked...and not to be a dick, but I can understand why...it's a fuzzy picture of a close-up of your car. The point of this contest isn't to see who has the coolest car, but who has the best overall photo...and a fuzzy closeup of a pink Civic at night isn't the best. Am I saying that my car is the best? Not at all...if I had to choose from all the photos picked for the 'final ten', I wouldn't choose my car...did I vote for my own? Of course, I'm broke and could use the cash...but you're pitching a fit over nothing, man. This isn't third grade where your fingerpainted picture of a flowerbed didn't win first prize in the art fair...you aren't losing anything you didn't have to begin with, so grow up and get over it. There are at LEAST 9 other people, myself included, who aren't going to win the photo contest, but it's nothing to get all worked up about.

The upload system supports 2MB for jpg's.
anything over that will not upload.
Thus, 10MP cameras taking 3GB pictures at 4000x4000 pixels OBVIOSULY won't upload.
Thus, resizing to something smaller but abover the 1280 rule is perfectly acceptable.
whether taken with a 10mp or a 2mp, 1280x960 either resized or native to the camera will look pretty much the same damn thing. maybe a HAIR cleaer...
"photoshoping" is a term used commonly on car forums, and it generally means "doctoring" the photo to some extent.
None of the entries appear to have this. If they do, my eye can't tell.

your car didn't get picked. While the lights look cool, a pic with gas pumps in the background isn't exactly "soothing" or "photogenic".
Don't blame me... Blame the rest of the staff who spent their personal free time wading through the list to pick their top 10.
out of those top 10 lists, i picked the top 10 cars that had the most votes from the staff, which was 2nd and 3rd, and motion passed before this thread even existed.
and here we are, with the top 10 being voted on.
Sometimes I wonder why I am generous and give back to the community at all. That 100 bucks could be spent by me personally for something... porn, gas, food, hookers... whatever i want.
But instead, I hold a contest which no one can seem to follow (how many deleted posts where there? at least 50.) and then afterwards, its a bitching match.
Fine, no more contests.

between 90integrac1 and a-c. i picked the first b/c a-c's was to close. if it was judged on cars looks itself it wouls have been completly different picks.
