That looks pretty damn clean! Hope you get it!

you can easily make regular us spec h4 bulbs work in the jdm lights. ive had a couple DAs and never had problems with my one piece lights.

you probably already know about it, but if you dont.... check out g2ic.com

jdm headlights  have fun finding and overpaying for the bulbs (H4H i believe... not sold in any stores around and online places charge out the ass for them... and they are almost always some shat-tastic hyper rice blue

I like the JDM 1 pieces, also my honda dealer sells the bulbs, $40 but really how often do you replace your headlight bulbs?

Love the teg, even cleaner than mine, im a little jealous. Unfortunately my car was passed around like a greek prostitute with almost 10 owners, but if you look at my car its damn good for what it is. Plus not winter driven. Good find, keep her pretty.

EDIT!
I had one of the officers responsible for finding my 97 gsr run a block stamp check versus the vin and the original motor is in there. Everything is correct with this car. =)
BTW its # 00208 ;)

Sorry mean type-r projectors (you know like the 98's have?)
*AGREE Gsr blades are sick.
BUT
I like the rims on there, and until I find some 16's I like I won't change them.
I might get the JDM 1 pc headlights or I might not. Might just leave it stock on the outside.
The point about the amber taillights being more effective on morons is quite good. I may just leave it that way.
HAHA Ima make it blink really fast cause that means the car is fast =p (Not really going to I promise I actually hate that shit)

I'm going to make it awd with turbo eventually I still have to figure out everything I need but, I think I can do it. My homie is a master welder or w/e you say but he is pro and I'm great at CAD so I can do it I think. What I may do is build a prototype out of a 92-93 rs,ls,gs to make sure I can do it before i cut up mah baby.... which most of the stuff I have to do is reversable but not desired.
I think an AWD T-Vtec gsr would be pretty sweet.
i no about g2ic

That is fucking nice dude. Id love to have a DA in that condition.

you could trade me your s2000.... :p
lol
Yea i just hope all things come through.
its going to be a long ass 2 weeks.
he said like 2 people have talked to him about it and been rather flakey

Oh great, not another one of those characters.

what the hell does that mean? you doubt me?

whats wrong with wanting to do rally and road racing? lol

and yes

he's only had 3 people (inc) me talk to him and he's a 63 yr old guy with a brand new paid off caddy he don't give a shit about 3k lol

you should see the 2 months time receipts totalling over 8k that are paid by check. =)

Pics Finally

Hey guys got some more pics.
After carefully considering. I think I may just make her an all motor monster. I don't wanna cut her up at all. :wtf:
Check her out.

Fail.

I base the fail on his reasoning. "I don't want to cut her up at all". A turbo is and/or can be a bolt on affair easier than an all motor build, not to mention theres no cutting involved.

And the all wheel drive idea...sigh

Well at least he gave up on the awd idea, that's a good start. I'm sure he'll decide to boost it once he starts getting prices for stuff and realizes boost is way more cost effective.

Let me ask you this.... IS boost more cost effective? Because its got 10:1 compression already, so maybe 4lbs boost? Whats that like 20hp? IF 20hp?
Ima add a poll to this thread. WITH reasons as to why your idea is good.

You'll see more torque with a turbo, regardless.

You don't want to concentrate on the PSI number, that's nothing unless you say @ what CFMs or say the compressor housing size. Pick a power goal.

A stock gsr motor can see 200-250whp reliably (good tune!). And will have a great increase in torque as well.

Plus you can dial down the boost with a controller when your daily driving, and crank it up in race conditions. An all motor build would be high strung for the street, especially if you want the kind of power it appears your wanting.

That makes sense. I have a hondata ecu for it. Its basically got all type-r internals. The guy that owns it had it rebuilt and put type-r everything in there had the cylinders honed and everything. Has an ecu reflash right now to type-r tuning. I was thinking just bore and keep the compression 10.2:1 and just add a little volume ;) maybe I'll do that and turbo. Port/polish the head and add like...350-400cc injectors (or should I go bigger with a turbo?)

Your off your block (as in your crazy).

Please don't mistake reflashing the ecu for tuning the ecu.

Type-R internals are higher compression than that...

Hondata is a good tuning solution, and better because you already own it.

What I was trying to tell you is 200-250whp reliably on all stock internals... you might think a port and polish sounds like the cool thing to do but I bet you don't know anything about it...

First of all, what is this car supposed to be for? I'd guess a daily driver. Do yourself a favor and read a lot more.

More volume... sleeve it, then in that case, put all forged bottom end internals in it, minus maybe crank, and boost the hell out of it, should be able to net 300+whp easy with sleeves.

Again moooore reading. I'm sure I could inform you of something new around every corner at this rate

Only thing about turbos is....you cant tell people its stock.
