I have a Del Sol with a jdm d16z6 and I plan to turbo it, however this will be the first time I have ever built a turbo car. I have a very limited budget so that is the biggest restraint on the project. I already have the turbo kit its a junk yard kit with, dsm t25 turbo, dsm fuel injectors, turbo piping, intercooler, RFL blowoff valve, and oil/coolent lines. I have two major concerns, I dont under stand how to run the oil/ coolent lines and I know nothing about tuning nor can I afford to have it professionally tuned. I would like to install the kit with a manual boost controller and run extremely low boost around 4 psi and just retard the timing so the motor will not detonate. I only want to run the car like this for a few months until i can afford a professional tune.

if you can't afford to get it tuned, don't turbo it. because if you do, and blow it, you can't afford another motor. save your money.

That is the best advise anyone could give.
running the oil lines is not at all difficult, but you need to wait until you can afford a decent tuning method and a tuning session before you even begin to turbo the car.

alright looks like im going to be slow for a while. Thank you guys for the advice I really appreciate it.

D16z6 isnt a jdm motor.....just for personal note

and yeah whats the point in boosting it if all youre goin to run is 4psi and of course save your money and the whole project actually when you have enough for a pro tune.
