I picked up that issue of Import Tuner today. Go figure, I bought it for the cleanest EG hatch I have ever seen that was on the cover.are you joking? this swap is nasty, for one the fact that most don't do it (ya they have reason) that to me is more a reason to do it! and showing you got the balls and the knowledge to back it up and pull this beast of a motor off. mostly stock w type R pistons 248whp and 181fqt more power then a k24 and for less $$$$$ just under 7k all told, http://www.importtuner.com/tech/impp_0902_k24_vtec_vs_g23_vtec_tech_knowledge/index.htm

But the motor is ridiculous. The only thing is, if it truly begins to gain a following, the cheap parts to build it will not be so cheap anymore.
I looked at the pic of the engine compartment and was in awe. I mean they even tucked the fan.
As for the good, fast, cheap... Name one point of that motor that would be the weak link.
the tuck was most likely a chasebays job. and for the record i think the g23 is better than a k series, its unique and has potential.
Well I have seen a couple of people online doing this swap with decent numbers. I just wanted to know if anyone has anyinfo on how to do this swap and what is needed for the swap to run right. I just might sell or trade my 240sx for an ek to do this? Any opinion?
How old is this article? I didn't think that Hybrid Dynamics was even around anymore. I thought all the dudes moved to Florida.
