got the muffler put on the car the other day. it sounds excellent. nice and quiet with a deep tone. must say that the dynomax super turbo is a great muffler.

so now i am going to begin cleaning things up on the car. my first priority is to get the little things tied up (missing/damaged seals, mismatched door handles, etc.)

i need to get to the scrap yard and get some seals and such that got a little messed up while i was painting the car.

i need to get some oem front fenders.

i need to get some REAL oem headlights.

i need to get the seals for the front end (under the hood, around the headlights, etc)

need to figure out what is going on with the trunk. seems to be slightly mis-aligned after i changed the trunk seal.

also need to order my valve cover ventilation setup and get that on the car ASAP.

lots to do, and so little time to work on it!

car sounds good tho. sorry i didnt take the time to read all 50 pages, how much boost and what are you tuned with? what trans you running? man i cant wait to get my ride running this summer

well, the tach in car is off slightly. b18b is no good @9k. rocker arms dont like it
its revving out to about 8k. im not sure whats up with the tach in the car but i am investigating. the redline is set at 8200 and im absolutely positive of that because its set on the map that way. also, @ the dyno the car was not revving to what the tach said.

im running a b16 transmission with an MFACTORY LSD. The car is currently on 15lbs. im tuned with CROME. dynod @ 320whp/ 282ft lbs @ 6k rpms. probably closer to 350-360whp. going to retune to 400-420ish whp this summer.

You should prally go back and read some of the thread. Then edit your post accordingly.

thanx for responding. nice. some good numbers on a conservative boost level. oh ok so it's just a bad tach. I was thinking about using CHROME. either that or ECUFLASH. and thnx for the info on MFACTORY. im going to look into their LSD's. i'd like to see a dyno graph when you shoot for the 400whp mark.

i just did a d15b swap in my 90 ef hatch... hows your revs? mine stops at like 4200 rpms. it wont rev any higher! got any suggestions?

Need the ECU or your oil press switch on the block is not hooked up

ordered $50 worth of plastic clips and a couple seals from a honda parts website just now. time to start getting the exterior perfect

i think im going to recirculate that though. and the BOV. keep it sleeper-ish.

i really dont like the sound of open wastegate anyway. it sound nasty dont get me wrong, but its just too loud.

ordering stuff for a velocity stack setup on the turbo as well. itll be a 3" setup thats run behind the drivers side headlight. debating on filter or no filter though. blox sells a velocity stack with a filter for it....

Why not cut your own diffuser slots or somethin that won't look lame? You can make them more fitting to the body type.
