Buy a spare block in good shape (youll need it later), swap in the tranny and the slicks. Throw the head on the motor you already have. Hook up the nitrous (just s simple WOT switch, you wont need a controller). Practice drivin without sprayin. Practice prayin like your on your death bed. Once youve got it down pat, take it the track and spray the everliving fuck out of it. No joke, Im talkin upwards of a 150 shot. Just pray to god that it holds togather until your within a few lengths of the traps.

Take it home, swap motors, drive to work on Monday.

That power/weight is 225 horse and 2560 pounds. With a B16 head added, you should be in the 250's. Thatll put your power/weight in the 0.090 neighborhood. Still short.

Your not gunna get a turbo setup thatll perform, plus the other stuff listed for $1500.
 
unless you build the motor and a decent turbo setup, youre fucked

even still, you arent willing to research and develop the knowledge base required to build such an engine on the budget youre proposing. youre asking questions that can be answered by RESEARCH. THIS HAS BEEN DONE A MILLION TIMES, A MILLION DIFFERENT WAYS. get on google, and search for turbo b18a/b. youll come up with build threads and such. start reading pal, youre going to need it.
 
100 shot, gsr tranny, slicks, valve train, cams, tune pray your tuner knows how to tune and it dosent blow on the dyno.....boom 13 sec honda. seen it done.
 
Why the hell are you going to go out, rush into something, and throw almost 3 grand on something that might explode because you didn't take the time to do it right?

You don't need NOS, or an upgraded engine of any sort. You need brains to realize what you are doing is stupid. He has a Charger, you have a teg. If Honda wanted you to be able to beat a SRT8 Charger with said teg, they would have made one that could.

I suggest you tell your ego to screw off, and build your teg the right way, considering you have a car that can be a very decent car if built correctly.

Its a stupid thing, he should get the car built then try to race. He is only 19 and he doesn't have to practice his driving at all. Let him learn his lessons.
