Yeah, good call Cal. We should try and keep the "discussion" about Dilbeck's cars within his own threads. And I'm just as guilty as anyone else of letting it spill over to this thread, so don't hear this as me being hypocritical.

Sorry for cluttering up your thread Linzi! Look forward to seeing more progress on your Civic!

Is everything wired up correctly? Why is the tach wiggling with a neutral rev?

Must be nice to have a sponsor! Been working on my kswap for a while now. Why did you go with the k24a4 over the a2?

Not sure if this explains it but the axles weren't even back on yet, this was when the car was still up on stands. But what do you mean wires up correctly?

Oh, just that sometimes bad wiring can cause the VSS (speed sensor) to pick up noise during a rev without having anything actually moving at the VSS. If you were turning the final drive and the VSS was picking up movement through the clutch while you were revving your engine, the speedometer should have revved up and down with your engine- the video shows that it lags behind somewhat. Maybe the tranny parts are still moving around a bit half of the pieces spinning off the clutch while still in neutral.

First start up? Old video or new D-Series? Or after main seal? I figured so since its not looking like a K under the hood (TB on back passenger side of engine bay being Rev'd). What are the CEL's

Looks like this thread got a hair cut (sort to speak) by admin.

First start up after new clutch, fly wheel and rear main. The throw out bearings were horrible before so this was the first time I heard the car running "right"

Not sure what's throwing the CEL, I don't know anyone who reads OBDI any suggestions would be great!

Good info in that link. Your 2-pin plug is under the passenger kick panel (above the ECU). Its near the glovebox. I have 2 plugs there. It's the smaller one. Piece a wire or open up a paper clip to connect the two lines of that plug together.

UPDATED!! Got and installed my NRG set up I got from Trackstar Distributors! If you're interested in any parts make sure to hit them up!
