It looks like the grille took some damage hits. Did it ?

And is that a replaced headlight ? I was about to yell at you on FB about the headlight.

I'm confused.

You really have terrible taste in your mods. Honestly all the stickers and missing hoods and garden trim are awful. And the lying and make believe about which cars may or may not actually be yours doesn't help your case either.

Maybe it's the beer, but I do have a modicum of respect for your work ethic. For a 21 year old kid to even show the initiative to work even 40 hours a week in todays world is rare. Granted Meineke or Maaco or whatever may not be the pinnacle of automotive repair, but at least you are making an effort to do something with your life besides getting stoned and playing video games.

But for christ sake quit with the missing hoods and stickers and neon lights.

Totally opposite here.

Do whatever you want with the cars. They're your cars.

The lying thing has TOTALLY killed your integrity. That's gonna take a while to get back.

Working at Meineke and calling yourself a mechanic is like working at McDonalds and calling yourself a chef. In fact, most garages don't employ "mechanics" they employ "Installers". The moment you divide yourself from that reality, the moment you can actually grow in your field. But doing so is a labor of love. Because until you're at Wil's level - it's sure as shit isn't a labor of money.

Edit: And bear in mind that while he never attended the frat parties or had a list of professors and goals for a dean's list - Wil's formal education in his field rivals that of a medical professional. And that wasn't free. (It prolly cost as much as a formal collegiate education)

Not opposite really Cel. I wasn't really clear I suppose but while I don't care for his taste, I don't give 2 shits about his cars.

My point was that he's making an effort to work and better himself. I deal with a lot of people in his general age group, and they would prefer not to do a goddamn thing other than have everything handed to them. Even if you think Meineke is a POS existence, he's (apparently) making the best of it.

the grill is dryrotted plastic, I need to find a replacement grill out of a 81-82 accord, and I work closer to 60 hours a week at midas I need to buy another car soo I can park the 79 and really restore it, and I do appreciate what positive comments they are, working hard and dedication have got me far in the last year, and theres a difference between what mods I used to make and mods I make now, difference is I now can afford to do real mods and not nickle and dime shit

you always seem to buy a car.
want to "dd the fuck out of it"
then you start modding it in pure full retard brotato fashion.
then you want to buy something else to park it.
then you end up trading it for said other car.
wash. rinse. repeat.

go away.

and no its not a new headlight, ive honestly to find out exactly what headlights they are, 79 civic headlights are round

Ugh, OK, I'll throw you a bone here. The front end and headlights look to be from an 82 civic. I'd try that grille before one from an Accord.

and, here.

1982 1983 Honda CIVC Front Grille Raw Black Smooth Plastic Chrome Molding 2dr HB | eBay

Headlights are AutoZone part number H6054XV for regular Sylvanias or H6054ST for SilverStars.

Now, fix it.

edit: although it's hard to say for sure, since it looks like you take your photos with a digital camera from the same year that car rolled off the assembly line.

Lol you have payments on that car?

Nice bullshit about buying a tool box worth more than any car you've ever owned.
