I'd also like to lose about 30 lbs before next summer. id be toned at that weight. i dont need to get big at all, just need to drop the gut.
im assuming you have done a shit load of research on the proper methods for this. care to share with me the details? proper diet techniques, what to do for excersize and how long, the best supplements?....and more importantly- what NOT to do?
the info about drinking cold water is good- im gonna try to down a gallon per day.

That's a bit too much water on a daily basis unless you're replacing what you're sweating out. Once your urine is clear you're fully hydrated. If you want something that will fill you up, get meal replacement shakes and drink one inbetween meals.
You're making it too much of a chore. How many meals are you eating a day? Six small meals a day is a good way to go.
