Some people can handle money others can't
I sooo want to sell my 350Z and pull my IRA money out and buy a 911TT
but.... I know better =)
You think 22k is high? Are you serious?
That is nothing in the world of credit card limits. Try small business or anything along the lines. I have 10k on both of mine. Doesn't mean I use more than 10%. ever.
Business and personal cards are different...
Hell just look at Airjockie's personal debt in his signature. If any of that is credit card debt, it's not worth it.
Ok. I'm done. My point was there is no need for it, but I guess that much credit is necessary for non business owners to have.
i'm in debt over 200k if you count my house and car...
its just a number...

It's very nice to have handy, how do you think I paid for my CBR? I paid for that with my credit card, I've also bought some pretty big price tag items on the CC.
It makes life easier so you don't have to get certified bank checks.
Come to think of it I bought my old DX Civic using a credit card =) I believe it was around 7K back then.
Checks are accepted at fewer places everyday, checking cards are a great idea but most checking cards have a very low limits, something like $500 per day. unless you call your bank ahead of time they'll decline any charges you place over X many dollars.
If shit hits the fan and I need money fast, it's nice knowing I have it at my finger tips, i hate going to the bank. + I get cash back on everything woot =)
more like 6-7% and it does make sense if you have the money in the bank in the first place.I'm talking credit cards, not lines of credit and mortgages which aren't pieces of plastic you can swipe just cause you can anywhere.
So you'd rather draw 10-30% interest on your charges over driving to the bank to withdraw money? That makes sense.
