Hi there. New to the forum and hate to start with a question but I have to...

I am running a B18C swap (unknown year) on my 1993 eg3. I bought the car this way and it is using an OBD1 engine harness with a OBD1 to OBD2 conversion extension harness and an OBD2 p72 ECU.
I own the car for over 17 years now and I only use it for about a month or two in the summer vacations when I visit my home land. The rest of the year the car is closed in a garage.
This year I am experiencing a lot of misfires. The car can't rev and has problems keeping idle when in neutral. When cruising the car feels like "kicking" most of the time and I get a lot unburned fuel out of the exhaust.
There are also times that the car will run perfectly without any signs of the problem.

So far noone could locate the source of the problem. It "activates" at random... Sometimes when running over a bump on the road, sometimes when washing the car... Sometimes the problem stays for a few miles and sometimes for a few days. Everyone says its electrical but noone can pinpoint and repair it.Now my horn also stopped working and my gasoline level gauge is not showing right. After 300 miles it should show around 15% remaining but instead it shows over 40%.

What do you think? Is it electrical? Will a new engine harness solve the problem? Also which one would fit better?

1996 integra b18c obd1?
1999 integra b18c obd2?
or a b16a2 obd1?

Sorry for the long sheet but I love my car and need it up and running for my next vacation. I got a whole year to figure out why is this happening.

Thanks in advance for your time.

how old is the gas? if it's been sitting for a while, it could be just old fuel causing it to run rough.
clogged fuel filters, etc could also be a thing.

I'd say top it off with highest octane you can find
replace the fuel filter
run a fuel inejection can cleaner through it and see how it works.

also check the battery/corrosion on grounds/terminals could be causing internment circuit issues.

What's with the link? are you using that harness?

gas is new 100 octane everytime.
fuel filter is 2 summers old, roughly 3000 miles.
tried a couple fuel injection cleaners with no luck.
battery is new, all grounds scratched and cleaned. all terminals cleaned with spray cleaner...

forgot about the link... I think of buying that one and replacing mine because mine is already way to old....
