05 civic turbo

I wana turbo my 05 civic ex but want to build the motor properly first..any suggestions as to which head i should use and good pistons to lower my compression ratio down. Its 9:9:1 now which is to high. I wanna get it down around to around 8:8:1 for the turbo. Vtec needs high compression but in a 1.7 vtec is nothing so i wanna go turbo. any suggestions on parts and possibly prices. Thanks

Thats not the greatest motor to turbo. Crank is known to give up. I would say toughen up that crank and check out turbo conversion kits for your car. They will give you a few options. 8.5:1 sounds good. I know the d17 will need some tough internals to manage any force induction.
