I drive a 1990 Prelude. I have some serioous gas milage problems. I recently filled my tank and set my trip meter. All I got was 283 km out of my 60l tank. That's only 11 miles per gallon(I looked up the conversions). I assume that part of my problem is a leak somewhere but i can't find it. How do I check the topside of my gas tank? Is there an access point to my pump anywhere? I've checked my gas lines that run down the inside of my car and they appear to be fine. I know I'm having problems with burning the fuel but that shouldn't affect my milage to that extent. Is there any possibility there could be a problem with my fuel regulator or my filter? This is really a big problem. I appreciate any help any of you guys(or girls) can offer, especially if it's finding my fuel pump access.
