the aluminum L brackets bolt to the radiator support and uses expanding screw clips on the bumper side. the whole thing just really aids in eliminating the flex and droop that happens with the stock L brackets.
Apparently rebooting the viper brain fixed all the problems. Who knew?
next part was replacing the purge solenoid valve on the vapor filter canister to fix a p0442 and p0456 evap leak small. The old one looked pretty beat inside and the new one looked to have better stuff inside.
Hatch release is fixed but the day before I took it apart the camera stopped working. Tested everything and queued up a replacement whole handle assembly from an orange turbo (trim, emblem, camera, hatch button) but didn’t pull the trigger as it’s not super important.
But today it started working again lol I did a mean burnout had the wheels hopping a bit and I put it in reverse and it popped up.
I believe the inside looks just like what you have there.
Simple heating element surrounded by a some type of material.
I don't think it's any more advanced, other than the hookup to an airline and a regulator.
