Destroyed them! Well done!

Had another great AX victory the weekend before last.

car goes to the dealer for p0442 diag Wednesday. I just can’t find or figure it out no amount of vacuum, smoke and solenoid testing has been fruitful. Everything seems right. I scrubbed the engine bay removed the catch can and replaced the coil clips so they have less to complain about.

also doing brakes this coming weekend. Literally everything from the hard lines out this time. My brakes have never been amazing so this should help ! Also bleeding out the old ATE 200 with some new ATE200.

Well then... free diag and part. I’m just as surprised as you are. Hopefully this is it !

So what I missed was that the charcoal canister won’t load up unless the car is moving, evap doesnt run unless conditions are met and the gas tank needs to be between 1/4 and 3/4 full. Since I had no way to check it in the garage, and there was no smoke or vacuum going into it, it seemed OK. I should have removed it from the car and taken a closer look.

I don’t believe so. The car is pretty clean. I wash the underside all the time lol

So the fronts are done. Ayla helped bleed them per usual. I even replaced a wheel stud!

In the next week I’ll replace the back pads calipers and rotors as well.

Great feeling when they all go ready with throwing a code, after you've had an EVAP issue, lol.

Haha indeed now I just have to finish up the rear brakes and put on the new to me enkeis for a sticker.

Ordering konis Friday... got a buddy with a great set of stock struts he’s giving me so I can create the front inserts.

Now onto the rear. I had to quit cuz I couldn’t beat the rotors off at the condo farm this late. I’ll brush everything down tomorrow as well.

i always advocate for flipping the pads halfway through life but it didn’t work out for me. Maybe I missed the little slot on the caliper reassembling them. I’ll be sure to watch out for this cuz I’ve done This twice before on this car with no trouble. Dumb mistake most likely.
