Ok, here we go...first time I'm posting anything to a forum so please bare with me
I'm in the process of installing a 2nd Gen B16A into a 94 Civic DX
When I bought the engine for some reason I got P2T ECU which is from a 99-00 SiR (Si in the US)...Obviously the connectors did not work and as far as I know there is no adapter to convert an ECU from OBD2 to OBD1 so I just went out and bought a P06 ECU which has been chipped to run with Vtec (Crossover @ 4800 and Redline @ 9500)
So as it stands right now, I have the engine in place but I seem to be a little lost when comes to wirring all this. As far as I can tell, the Pin Outs for all OBD1 ECU's are all the same...is this right? What should I be looking for? I have the wirring harness that came with the engine, do I still need to run the Vtec wires or are they already there because the engine was running before with vtec.
All comments are apreciated.
thanks
