88-91 B16 Head For Ls/vtec

I am building a ls/vtec and need some info. Is it possible to use a 88-91 jdm b16a head for a ls/vtec build up? Or in other words execpt for obd1 and obd2 are the b16a heads (motors) the same from 88-2000?

I don't know if they are the same, but you can use it. I used a head from a B16A.
