90crxfreak, yes, I went to the track a while back and ran a 15.6@91.8mph. I know it's a low 15 sec car, I just didn't really know how to drive it back then. Plus is was on a minor street tune, and wasnt running as best as it could.
I'm going to take it easy on buying stuff for this car. I'm saving my money for something else.
I'm gonna re-tune it and leave it as-is.(with exception of suspension stuff)
nice... u wouldn't know what your 60' was would u?....
i ask cuz #'s of this motor are like non existing... i have the same motor in the same car pretty much...
i just ran at the track for my first time ever on saturday & my first run i did 16.3 cuz i just wanted to see what it had in store & didn't want to break anything on the first run... second got better, & the next was the best for the day... 15.673 @ 88.24 w/ a 60' of 2.357.... @ 2300 lbs
also what tranny are u running on... i'm on a 90 si 91 sounds like a high trap, did u go into 4th?
yea... 4k seems to be the sweet spot w/ that motor, but i got those damn es 100's that stick like glue, its had to get them spinning instead of hopping...
I'm running es100's, too. 195/50/15's. They had about 1,500 miles when I ran.
I had some bad wheel hop issues too. especially on the launch, I had to back off a lot, hence my 2.6 60ft's.
Just to keep his lil thread goin.. Andrew and I played some this weekend.
First from a dig.. I got the jump on him and it stayed that way untill we stopped. He was about at my door. I wasn't pulling on him nor was he catching me.
Second run, from a roll.. Low MPH, around 10-15.. He squirted ahead of me, I was at his door, at the launch. It was identical after that.. Untill I missed 3rd I never miss too Feel pretty stupid
I think I was either spinning on my part( doubt it) or it was the uber awesome d16 torque coupled with being 600 lbs lighter that made the difference from the roll.
