any difference between cable/hydro clutch?

I bought a new clutch for my build a while ago, thinking that I would be using an S1 cable gearbox, and the guy i bought it off said it would be fine. I can no longer get in touch with him, and have moved plans to either an S4C or S80 hydro box. My question is: will the clutch that I have fit into a hydro box, or is there some inherent difference in a clutches for cable and hydro boxes?

There is however a difference in the throw out bearing so if you are buying a kit get the correct one for the tranny.

I made that mistake......
