b16 into 93 coupe

i just purchased a b16a obd 1 swap and im wondering what ill need to do in order to get it in and running. my car is a dx. do i need the rear si mount? what wiring harness and modifications need to be done?

ive read that its a direct swap. i read that you need different shift linkage. different throttle cable.?????

You need mounts from a 94-01 Integra or a Del Sol VTEC. You'll need a B-series shift linkage as well. You realize that you need to use a B-series transmission, right?

yea i know that lol.i ordered a complete changeover from hmotorsonline.com. but i still need mounts??

You do not need the rear mount, atleast for now. maybe a good idea after you start adding more power, but as for a stock b16 its not a must. i did the same swap and its worked fine without it going on 4 years now. good luck

You still need B-series mounts otherwise though. I think he's asking if it's a direct bolt-in on the D-series stuff...

no. it comes with b series mounts but i was told i needed the 99-00 rear si mount
