I am still looking at doing a swap into my 92 hatch automatic. Which swap/auto conversion would be easiest and cheapest off the hop? Which motor would have better potential for whp with upgrades?

obviously the B18B swap is going to be less expensive, when you consider how plentiful and cheap they are compare to the ITR motor- The auto to manal conversion is going to be the same with either motor, since the both came stock with hydro trannies- The real choice is up to you- The B18B is a great candidate for turbocharging right out of the box, while the ITR motor makes 200hp- it's more or less up to you and your wallet

welp lets see the LS engine can be had for $1000-$2200
the ITR engine goes for $4600-$5500 all day
