if i want to use a chipped p28 to run a b18c1 do i need the knock control or iab? i cant seem to find a p72 for a good price but i can get a chipped p28 cheap that has those disabled do i need them?

with a P28, it does not look for a knock sensor, and the IAB's will not work. Alot of people wire them up so that they are always on, or switch to a skunk2 or similar manifold.

if the iabs dont work because of the ecu, can i still wire it in so it will work?
