Complete Wiring Harness Replace

What would be involve with replacing all off the wiring harness instead of splicing in the wires i need for my swap..

It is a 1988 CRX DX and I am putting in a 1993 D16Z6. I already have most of the harness (from firewall forward) How much more would I need to I can just plug and play.

just add the extra wires the harness in car has power and groung feeds plus ac, rear defrost and other crap in it
