Difference Between Ex And Si Cluster?

I wanna change my Cluster by a SI one, but everyone tells me to put a EX one.
Why? What is the difference between EX and SI cluster? What has the EX cluster more then the SI cluster?

I know for sure the SI cluster has the letters "SI" on it, plain to see. That being said, if your not building a b16 it would be like putting an GTR emblem on your 89 ford escort GT (I've seen it). Granted it wouldn't be an Escort so not quite that bad, you get the picture.

An si one redlines to 8 then the speedometer goes to i beleive 140 or 150. ex doesnt
