I was just wondering where can you get your car dyno tested at? How much does it cost roughly? And out of curiousity how do they actually test it? Thanks alot.

call around at performance shops, also i think if you go to the dynojet website they have a listing of people who use their dynos. it is not really dyno "testing" its more for "tuning" your car, ie: adjusting cam timing, ignition timing, fuel maps, fuel pressure, ... whatever else you have have that is tunable, to acheive a desired powerband.

roughly be willing to spend around $100 bucks an hour around here, i live in so cal btw. I hope that helps.

If you have the ablility use an engine dyno over the chasis dyno

and most people tune the motors to get the best out at the wheels, because thats where the power really is.

keep in mind unless your building an all out race motor that is going to be rebuilt rather soon slaping your 0 mile old motor to a dyno meter is well.... heres 3K bucks go burn it for me

Jeff

every dyno around here is 150/hr
that includes wideband use and it is installed near your collector
