Hey i have a 90 civic hb si. The light that comes on when you have the ebreak engaged is stuck on. I took off the ebrake cover and the little sensor button thing is working. So i am not sure if it is a short or what. The light stays on but gets brighter when the actual ebrake light is engaged. Any ideas?

check your brake fluid, same thing happened to me. my calipers were shot and they leaked like crazy.

my fluid has never gone down, it is rite below the maximum level in the break fluid holder thingy majig. lol

well you never know what might happen, have you checked it lately?

check all of your brakes (calipers and or drums) and all break lines and check your master cylinder. the breakfluid would be a greenish brown color. but if your fluid isnt low i dont know what it could be then.

well my brakes suck ass and its hard to stop and ALSO i have never bleeded my brakes before. =X and have done alot opf brake work so im sure i might want to do that eh? lol Might do it tonight, anyone have any good instructions on bleeding breaks?

some people may say different but i always start from the wheel furthest from the master cylinder and work my way closer, so the order would be rear passenger, rear driver, front passenger, front driver.

what you do is take off the wheel and on the caliper there will be a bleeder screw, usually with a lil plastic cap over top of it. unscrew it a little bit (not all the way out) have some one sit in the drivers seat to press the brakes.

1. open screw
2. press brake pedal and HOLD
3. tighten screw
4. let off of brake pedal
5. open screw
6. press brake pedal and HOLD
7. close screw

and so on and so forth until you see fluid squirt out. do this for ever wheel in the order and wah lah, you bled your brakes.

thanks gsrcrxsi, asmallsol is starin at my post like, :ufucktard: :ufucktard:

should i do this with the car on or off? becuase its kinda hard to press the brake with it off.
