extra sensor

im inthe proces of doing the mpfi wiring and i noticed there is sensor on the coolant flange on the side of the engine and there wasnt one on my STD engine

do i use that sensor? if so what plugs into it?

help!?!?!?

is the B18 engine OBD1? is the sensor on the thermostat housing? if so, it is the cooling fan switch which is next to the oil filter on D15 engine - harness connector has 2 wires with big black rubber boot - you need to extend wires to reach the sensor

yes the LS is OBD1

so i leave the sensor on the block unplugged and connect those wires to the sensor t-stat housing?
