I've never rebuilt an engine but I've got books and there's always a bunch of information out there. What I want to know is if any of you guys have rebuilt and engine on your own with only the help of a book. I've read through the steps over and over, I think I can do the bottom end but I'll send the head off somewhere because they seem like a pain. How did your guys first engine turn out?
