What would be two good things to monitor on an all motor setup?

Oil pressur definitely, and if you can afford i, a real wideband A/F gauge like the AEM Uego gauge. If you can't afford the real wideband A/F meter, don't bother with a regular one cause they're garbage. I'd say Oil Pressure and Water Temp would be good if you can't spare the coin for a wideband meter.

VTEC boost....wire a boost gauge up to your VTEC so you can see how hard the VTEC is kicking in.

Also get a G-sensor, so you can tell how hard the VTEC is slamming you back into your seat.

2. oil psi and water temp
