Getting 89 Civic Si

I'm getting a 89 Civic Si. I wanna so a engine swap over the summer. but right now i just wanna do intake and exhaust. Short shifter and so on. what other this should i do till i can afford an b-series engine?

save your money and buy a b16a1 right away, it will be about the same as I/H/E,

those would be very expensive i/h/e. from the prices i've seen, a B16 swap w/tranny cost around $2k. you can get i/h/e for easily under a grand.

your shopping at the wrong places. You can get a complete first gen 16 for like 1.2k

you can get a complete b16a1 shipped for 1.2k . but i would personally stay saving and get atleast a GSR swap. you will be kicking yourself later. hell i'm kicking myself now with my b16.1.8blockhere i come
