im wanting to kill someone by placing a 3rd claymore out causing it to blow the first up killing someone and see if that gives me anything.

So I was playing the other day, and somehow I just died. I wasn't quite sure how it happened. On the Kill Cam I watched myself running and then a care package dropped right on my head, lol...

I did that Sunday to an enemy. I dropped it by a wall, when it came down it bounced off a wall and landed on him. Its a challenge I never thought I'd get.

Yeah that one is easy to run off the edge. I dunno how many times I've shot at someone and backed up behind cover to reload only to fall off and lose my killstreak.

That's how you get the achievement actually. It has to be the final kill of the match...

There are two different challenges actually. The one you're talking about is in Finishing Moves called Heads Up!, there's another one in the "prestige" challenges called Droppin Crates'. So if you happen to do that for the last kill of the match you'll hit two challenges with one crate. I got the one in the prestige challenges, but not the finishing moves one.

i had an awesome final kill cam the other day. i tried to switch from noob tube to gun, but the guy was running at me too fast. shot him straight with the noob tube. no explosion, just a grenade round right through the head. everybody thought it was a great kill. lol

Did you get the challenge for it? I haven't had any final kill cams that were exciting, but I've had plenty of em.

i don't think i got anything.

it was cool, because it started in real time with the guy running at me. as soon as i fired it went into slo-motion and when it hit the guy stopped dead in his tracks and almost did a backflip.

I love shooting people in midair. They'll do backflips or summersaults and land funny. I shot one guy on highrise as he was trying to get to one of those window cleaning things in mid air. He flew off the side of the building. I laughed for 10 minutes.

Learning the dynamics of each map will lead you to have a much better experince. On most maps there are always hot spots where most of the action goes down. Once you get that down you can naviagate around campers and the like.

Yeah, I'm trying to learn all the maps. I bought the little strategy guide, which I've found somewhat helpful. They have layouts of all the maps with suggestions for sniper spots and defensible positions and whatnot.

That depends. On COD4, if you get your uav, you can find them easier, get two more kills and get two more with your airstrike. Once you get your chopper kill yourself or wait to get killed then call in your chopper. Then it'll do the work for you. I've literally had games on COD4 where I got my first 5 kills then never bothered to fire my gun again because the chopper got me another chopper.

This is why I like MW2 SO MUCH more... different rewards, and the killstreak you use to get kills after you respawn doesn't count toward your new killstreak. So in essence, YOU have to get the kills to get the streaks. The choppers won't get them for you. Also the fact that Cold Blooded negates any air support makes it so much nicer.

Yeah, I guess that's true. I'm just really inconsistent right now, and I don't know how to get more consistent. I rarely make it past the UAV killstreak before somebody kills me, so I never even get to enjoy the better ones...

hey brutal, you might actually benefit from the "noob tube". try adding a grenade launche to your guns. use it to keep a safe distance. then switch to guns after you use both shots. my kill/death ratio improved a lot when i started using it.

Oh, I'm well acquainted with the noob tube. When I do have good games, it's usually because I made good use of the grenade launcher. Then you have to deal with the pissed off people in the lobby afterwards though.

Speaking of that, I don't really get all the hate for the grenade launcher. It's part of the fucking game. It's not like I'm putting in some cheat code or hacking the game to give me an advantage. Anybody else that wants to use one, can...

i think it gets a lot of hate because a lot of noobs just launch it randomly. they just shoot off two quick shots then go camp. i can't think of any times i never saw the person when i used it. i just use it when i am too far for a gun or they are camping at a funny angle or under cover.
